We use AMB/MyLaps transponders.
Transponders are required to receive points for the Time Trial. We use AMB/MyLaps transponders.
Competitors with their own transponder can enter the transponder ID during registration. Those choosing to run untimed ( TD ) do not need a transponder.
There are a limited number of transponders available for rent. Rentals must be done as part of event registration.
Rental requests after 01/29/2027 may not be available.
We do not accept times from any other timing devices for competition.
Run Group Structure:
Novice (group 4): Generally 0-2 track event experience, or anyone with more experience but not yet as comfortable on track. The session includes a lead-follow familiarization lap in the first session to familiarize with the track/safety protocol and session-by-session instructor meetings to help with questions and feedback throughout the event. Point by passing based on group progression, generally front and back straight.
Groups 1-3 are grouped based on lap times equally dispersing drivers between the three groups with the most similar lap times. Fastest lap times go in group 1 with decreasing lap times into group 2 and 3.
These groups all have the same point by passing requirements. Approximate lap times for each group are listed below for reference. This may change based on participants and actual lap times during the event.
Group 1: 2:00 -
Group 2: 2:00 - 2:20
Group 3: 2:20 +
